Dogs are not......

our whole lives, but they make our lives whole...... Today Maddie turns 12 in dog years. It all started when Erin and Shauna asked to use their money to buy a golden they saw in the paper. Maddie cost them 150 dollars - seventy-five for Erin and seventy-five for Shauna. It was the best 150 dollars ever spent!! Of course, Maddie quickly became "our" dog and found her way into this guys heart...... (I mean she is a female after all) and even though she is getting on in years, Maddie will still show that spunk just to let us know that she is still here.....

I mean she has earned her keep.......

and has put up with all the silly things her owners have done to her.....

really.....

She's been there for graduations, christmas', birthdays and just when you need

someone to talk to but not answer you back ..........

A dog's love is unconditional and Maddie has been no different. And like every female

who is getting older I would like to say that : you're not getting older, you're getting better!
