Reflections on being a grandparent....

In todays paper there was an article entitled "In a grand way-Sunday's Grandparents Day celebrates bond with grandchildren." It goes on to tell about how it became an official holiday under Jimmy Carter's administration in 1978. This was all new to me. It goes on to say how 7 million children lived with grandparents, last year. That's quite a number! These four absolutely, wonderful......... outrageously cute...... beyond too cute for words...

the apple of our eye.....

make being a grandparent mean more than any words here can express. There is a special

bond between us because we no longer have the pressure to raise them - just play with

them!! OK and maybe just spoil a little bit now and then.
