Trim the tree....

For 21 years we have been cutting down our own Christmas tree. We have so many good

memories of taking the girls out and finding that perfect tree. But, I guess for me, it

hasnt really been the same for the past few years. Not to mention the fact that it usually

is well below freezing when we cut down the tree and my hands and feet go absolutely

numb after only a few minutes!! So, on saturday, we went to Stein's and bought an artificial

pre-light 9ft. tree. I have to say that at first I thought I would be sad that we were passing on

tree cutting, but , no I'm not. This tree is great!! I think I really like it.....

I also passed this year on putting up all the stockings. Santa wont be coming to our house

but in their place I found a really cute print on Etsy that I bought a frame for and with

a few new other things from Target I like the mantle.

Yesterday, I had the day off from school, and after a few errands in the a.m., I sat and watched

White Christmas. Now this is one tradition that I have no idea of giving up!!
