California....

Rounding out our busy summer was a great trip to California for Alex and Colette's wedding.

We arrived at the San Jose airport friday night were we were glad to see Deb and Andre.  

Los Gatos is about 15 minutes southwest of San Jose and is a very picturesque small town

but with a lot of amenities!  I have to say that I really liked it there....

On saturday we ventured up to San Francisco with Sharon and Nick.  We had

wanted to take the tour of Alcatraz but it was sold out.  So our next plan of action was

to walk along the Embarcadero .  We also took a boat tour of the bay that went under

the Golden Gate bridge and around Alcatraz- but my favorite sight was the seals!!

Sunday morning we found a great place for breakfast and right outside in the town

square was a farmer's market with the biggest produce we have ever seen!!

Delicious!!

It was a wonderful trip and the perfect way to end summer.
