We were scheduled to leave for Germany on May 23rd, but, mother nature had her own
agenda! Storms where in the Philadelphia area and our plane was cancelled. But Friday morning
we were finally on our way. We arrived in Munich Saturday morning and managed to
find the right bus to get us to the Munich train station where there was a starbucks waiting for me...
We had some time to kill before Shauna, Ben, Grace and Clare met us at the train station for
our trip to Salzburg. Beyond excited to see everyone, tired, we set off on the train..
Despite the overcast weather, Salzburg Austria is everything beautiful and more.... What
a thrill to see where they filmed parts of the Sound of Music!! This for me, was one
of the best places I have ever seen.
