A fantastic birthday

I had an absolutely wonderful birthday on friday. The best gift of all was given to me by Luke! and from there it got better. Friday night our school had a circus night and the kids worked hard all week making there costumes (with a lot of help from the teachers.) We had dancing dogs, prancing ponies, tigers, lions, tightrope walkers, a ring master, clowns. And after the performances we had popcorn, cotton candy and games downstairs for the kids. It was fun but I cant say that I'm not glad that its over. I always thought that kids LOVED to finger paint, but on thursday our 3's made life size clowns and they had to finger paint them. One cute little boy in my class asked me were the brush was! On saturday, we packed our bags (my new vera bradley overnight bag) . and took the amtrak to Chicago. The weather couldnt have been better for a February day! We found a panera, ate some breakfast, and headed to the Sears tower for a clear view of Chicago. We stayed at the Omni hotel (hey, whats good enough for Oprah's guest is good enough for us) and headed back home on sunday. Thank you to my family for making me feel so special!
